Giving back

Giving with purpose. Growing
change together.

At Seed & Sprout, sustainability has always meant more than the products we make.

It’s about how we show up for people, for the planet, and for the future we’re helping to shape.

In 2026, we’re committing to a more intentional way of giving back by supporting a diverse range of charities and initiatives creating real, meaningful change.

Our 2026 Commitment

Throughout 2026, we’ll be donating up to $5,000 every month to causes that align with our values.

Rather than supporting just one organisation, we’ll rotate our giving across three focus areas, ensuring our impact reaches different communities, ecosystems and ideas throughout the year.

Our 2026 Commitment

Our Three Pillars of Impact

People

Supporting safety, dignity and wellbeing

We support organisations helping people feel safer, supported and seen with direct frontline access. From domestic violence services to homelessness, food security and mental health support.

Planet

Protecting and restoring the natural world

From composting and waste reduction to ocean protection and conservation, this pillar backs initiatives restoring and protecting our natural world across grassroots groups to established environmental charities.

Innovation, Projects & Platforms

Backing ideas shaping a better future

This pillar supports emerging ideas from the brightest minds, including carbon reduction and regenerative farming to climate innovation through a combination of funding, awareness and/or team time.

Community & Team-Led Giving

This program isn’t just driven by us - it’s shaped by the people around us.

Community nominations
We’ll regularly invite our community to share charities and causes close to their hearts.

Team input
Our team will help nominate and support local and national organisations, with opportunities to volunteer and contribute skills.

Together, this ensures our giving reflects the values of the people who make Seed & Sprout what it is.

Transparency & Impact

We’re committed to giving thoughtfully and openly.

Throughout the year, we’ll share:

  • Who we’re supporting
  • Why they were chosen
  • The impact your support helps make possible

Because doing good should always come with accountability.

Help us choose who we support

Nominate a cause close to your heart

In 2026, we’re giving back across people, planet and future-focused innovation and we’d love your input! If there’s a charity, organisation or project you care deeply about, share it with us and help shape the impact we make together!

Our giving highlights

Seabin charitable giving project

SEABIN

September 2026

We've partnered with Seabin, an Australian clean-tech company whose floating Seabins sit at marinas and waterways, sucking in and filtering out rubbish, oil and detergents around the clock, then pumping the clean water back out.

Our $5,000 donation funds 18.7 million litres of water filtered, 10,000 plastic items captured, and 5.4 million microplastics removed - because it's not just the big, visible rubbish that matters, it's the tiny stuff too small to spot from a boat that adds up the fastest.

Orange Sky Laundry

ORANGE SKY LAUNDRY

August 2026

We have partnered with Orange Sky, a charity delivering free laundry and shower services to people experiencing homelessness and hardship across every state and territory.

Our $5,000 donation provides 104 loads of washing, 69 warm showers and 139 hours of genuine, non-judgemental conversation - because it's not just the wash cycle that matters, it's the connection that happens while the washing dries.

Fletcher Street Cottage

FLETCHER STREET COTTAGE

July 2026

We have partnered with Fletcher Street Cottage, a community service hub in the heart of Byron Bay who support locals experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and mental health challenges.

Each day, 65 to 90 people visit for a warm meal, a shower and support to start again - and we're proud to help fund it.
